2018 Fall To Do List Ideas

The leaves are changing, the temperature is dropping and all I hear is Pumpkin Spice everything!
FALL IS HERE!
It’s my favorite time of the year!

I love the warmth of a cozy sweater when it’s chilly outside and the smell of apple cinnamon in my home.

I love making hot cocoa and dipping some graham crackers in it while watching Home Alone or something on the Lifetime channel.

I love seeing the leaves fall and pumpkin decorations everywhere.

I just LOVE everything about Fall!

I came up with a list of things that I absolutely love doing during this season. If you’re feeling stuck on what things to take advantage of before the cold winter comes in, check this out!

Let’s start off with HOME:

Welcome the beautiful Fall season by

Decorating in warm red, orange, and brown colors and adding leaves and pumpkins everywhere!
In need of some decor? Head to Amazon.com! I found so many cute pillow covers, table clothes, pip berry garlands, pumpkin accents, and so much more!

Buy apple cinnamon and pumpkin spice plugins or candles (Amazon has Glade Jar Candles (Pack of 3) for only $7.49)
I also found an amazing smelling, pumpkin butter hand soap for the washroom.

Bake an apple pie
Did you know that there is an actual apple pie spice?
Click here to see a whole set of delicious spices that you definitely NEED for this season!

Make hot cocoa with marshmallows and drink it with graham crackers (YUM!)

GET OUTSIDE BEFORE THE SNOW COMES IN AND ENGAGE IN SOME ACTIVITIES WITH THE LITTLE ONES:

Go apple picking
(We went to Apple Dave’s Orchards in Warwick, NY this weekend!)

Visit a pumpkin patch
We LOVE visiting the Queens County Farm.
If you’re a New Yorker, a visit to this farm is definitely worth your time.

Collect colorful leaves

Go on a nature walk
I love doing this because it can be so peaceful and refreshing when you go early in the morning.

Jump in a pile of leaves
I loved doing this as a kid, and I think it’s a great way to teach children to enjoy the little things in life.

ENGAGE IN SOME PERSONAL EDIFICATION TIME:

  • Create a gratitude chart to add onto every week or click on the link to download and print one I already created
    (GRATITUDE LOG)

  • Unplug from social media for 24 hours

  • Set time aside to pray for another person’s blessing

  • Read a book that allows you to reflect on self
