Hi, I’m Alexa!
Yup, like the Amazon one, but I come with coffee and Jesus! I am a wife to my high school sweetheart and a mama to our four amazing boys, including a set of twins who were the biggest surprise of our lives, to date! I am a home educator, a plant and book enthusiast, and—above all—a woman after God’s heart. I am originally from the suburbs of New Jersey, but with my husband being from New York City, we have found our happy medium and made our home in the beautiful state of Connecticut. As a young woman, before becoming a mother, I dedicated my life to serving in ministry as a children’s ministry director, discipleship teacher, and other roles within the church. While those roles were very fulfilling, it wasn’t until I became a mother that I saw the gospel of Jesus come to life before my eyes. Motherhood has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life.
While society often paints having children as a burden, I stand firmly on the truth that children are a blessing from the Lord. My mission is to encourage other mamas to see motherhood through that same lens of gratitude and grace. Although I am far from perfect, I believe God has equipped me with gifts to support and uplift other mothers through my writing and local fellowship events. My deepest desire is to use these gifts in obedience—to remind every mama in the midst of motherhood that she is not alone.
